Our History
Tim and Vanessa Milligan founded Intracoastal Fire Protection (now Liberty Fire Protection) in 2009 when the fire and safety company Tim used to work for sold to a larger entity. Focused on providing the highest quality fire safety services with a family feel, the business quickly grew to its current size, where a group of well-trained and trusted technicians, led by Tim and Vanessa, service commercial businesses and public venues throughout North and South Carolina.
Tim and Vanessa’s own family consists of five children and four grandchildren. They spend their free time spoiling the grandkids (the children of their two adult daughters); traveling with their teenage daughter to her softball games; and teaching their two teenage sons the family business.
Our Approach
For all of your fire safety system needs, our trained technicians will be with you from the beginning (installation) to the end (repairs), and for everything in between (cleaning, maintenance, and inspections). We electronically document every installation, repair, cleaning, and inspection with pictures, reports, and dates of service. This means that we can email you all documentation, making it easy for you to comply with requests from the fire marshal, the Department of Health, your insurance company, your corporate office, and any other entities that require documentation.
